Brownie Bites are my rich, fudgy brownies baked into a tiny, bite-sized treat. You get the crispy edges and the gooey centers packed with chunks of chocolate in each bite. They are the perfect sized treat that can be ready in less than 30 minutes.

I would reach for a brownie before just about any other dessert, but sometimes you need a little treat rather than a whole brownie. These Brownie Bites fit the bill! They are the perfect bite-sized treat to have has a snack, bring to a party, or add to a packed lunch.

Ingredient Notes
- I always make sure to use unsalted butter when baking because there is no “standard” for the amount of salt they can add to butter. So if you add salt to a recipe and then use salted butter you could end up with a very salty end product.
- Measuring the all-purpose flour correctly is very important. I suggest weighing your flour out. If you want to use a measuring cup, make sure you spoon the flour into the cup and level it off with a knife. Don’t use the cup to scoop directly from the flour.
- Cocoa Powder will amp up the flavor and make these double chocolate brownies. It also flavors my favorite Chocolate Brownie Pie.
- I prefer semi-sweet chocolate, but you can use milk chocolate or dark chocolate, if you prefer. Add more than one type of chocolate for triple chocolate brownies! If you're wanting puddles of chocolate chop up a chocolate bar instead of using chocolate chips. If you're wanting more chocolate puddles check out my Chocolate Filled Cookies.
See the recipe card below for a full list of ingredients and measurements.
Substitutions and Variations
- If you want to amp up the chocolate flavor you can add a spoonful of chocolate ganache on top of each brownie bite. I use chocolate ganache in my Chocolate Ganache Macarons.
- You can also add more chocolate flavor by adding a dollop of Nutella or fudge onto each bite before baking. Get more Nutella in this Nutella Stuffed Skillet Cookie.
- Swirl a little scoop of peanut butter into each brownie bite before baking if you're a chocolate peanut butter lover. I do the same thing with my Peanut Butter Lava Cakes.
- If you're looking for extra sweetness you can add caramel to the brownies either before or after baking. I stuff it in the middle of these Caramel Stuffed Brownies.

Expert Baking Tips
- Sprinkle the brownies with flaky sea salt before serving. Salt complements chocolate perfectly and will really bring out the flavor.
- Use an oven thermometer. Most ovens run either hot or cold. Using an oven thermometer ensures that you are baking your brownies at the perfect temperature.
- Weigh your ingredients. One of the most common baking mistakes that I see is measuring incorrectly, especially with flour. The best way to get accurate measurements every time is to weigh them with a kitchen scale.
- Don't over mix. You need to mix your batter until all of the ingredients are JUST combined, otherwise, you will make too much gluten and your brownies will be more like cake instead of fudgy.
