Dutch Baby is like a cross between a pancake and a crepe. It puffs up to become a fun and interesting dish!

Ingredients

For Dutch Baby:

  • 3 large eggs
  • ½ cup (60 grams) all-purpose flour
  • ½ cup milk
  • 1 tablespoon (12 grams) granulated sugar
  • 4 tablespoons butter

Instructions

For Dutch Baby:

  • Preheat oven to 425 degrees (F).
  • In a blender combine the eggs, flour, milk, and sugar. Blend until fully combined and smooth.
  • When the oven is fully preheated place the butter in a 10-inch oven-safe skillet or baking dish and place in the oven until the butter has melted.
  • When the butter is fully melted add the batter to the skillet and place it back in the oven.
  • Bake for 20 minutes, then reduce the heat to 300 degrees (F) and bake for 5 minutes.
  • Remove from oven and serve immediately.
