Hey there, I’m Ellie Haley! Most days you can find me in my kitchen wearing my favorite Lulu Lemon leggings and one of my husband’s t-shirts. I am mostly known for the sweet treats I make, baking is my love language and my way of making the world a little brighter. I am most passionate about God, my husband, my pups, pasta, and anything sweet (literally anything). My intent is to serve those who love to be in the kitchen, those who want to learn more about baking, those who don’t know how to boil water, and everyone in between. Going through a Professional Pastry Program at the International Culinary Center has equipped me with invaluable knowledge that I want to pass on to you.
Wanna know more? I’m from a small town in East Texas. My big dreams took me to New York City to take on pastry school and life in a big city. I’ve finally put down some roots in Waco, Texas with my high school sweetheart and handsome husband (they’re the same person), Hunter. He is all the things and my biggest cheerleader. We have the two cutest and craziest pups in the world, Chipper and Champ. If you ever need a pick-me-up just hit me up on social media and I’ll send you allll the puppy pictures and videos; these pups know to turn a day around. I’m a book nerd, avid shower singer, puppy lover, reality TV junkie, and podcast obsessed. More than anything, though, I am SO glad you are here.
What is Kitchen 335?
The real Kitchen 335 is my parent’s house, located in Deep East Texas. It is where I used to steal little scoops of my mom’s White Chocolate Cheesecakes (get the recipe here) when she was supposed to be taking them to our family-owned Bed & Breakfast to serve. It is where I watched my dad make ten different variations of his Bread Pudding until he found the perfect one (it has glazed donuts in it, in case you were wondering). It is where I fell in love with being in the kitchen and I learned how food can impact people. This Kitchen 335 is an attempt to recreate that feeling for others, to help you fall in love with being in the kitchen, to impact you and those you feed.
